Here it is again more talents from Germany. This time it's for you pop/dance fans. Let me introduce the twins Jane and Francine from Hamburg better known as: "2 BLOND BANDITS" Guten Tag! Heißt willkommen bei ezine... How are you?

Hi and guten Tag. We feel alright. Nice to do an interwiev with you!

You have an impressive artistic history you started on stage at age 4. How was that like?

As a child one doesn't see things so seriously. We simply had fun doing it Being on stage and play a story. We think everybody like it to get recognition for good work. Most of all children. And today? It isn't much different. We love to be on stage and to feel the vibes from the audience.

Judging from your bio you always had a thing for music "it's in your blood" as they say. When did you first felt you were going "to do it" ?

We think all childrens have fun with music and dance. as we got a little older, we start an education in Jazz and Modern Dance. As we are here in Hamburg, we became acquainted with people which had to work with music. That was the time we said: "We do it!"

Which song has been your greatest succes?

Our personal biggest "Thing" was in the year 1999 with the number 1 hit in spain and a chart entry in many other countries. It was "I wanna be your toy" under the ex-project "2 Eivissa". It was for another studio and producers than today. But in the year 2000, we break the team work with that studio and producer cause we got some troubles. Now we got our own project with a nice team of friends and we are still working with great succes.

Do you write your lyrics and music?

Our producer and manager Jens write the music and lyrics. Sometimes we get a good idea ourself for a part of it.

You have a nice video on your site what is the story behind it? meaning how did it come about?

The story behind the video is to have some material for our fans on our website. And also to promote 2 Blond Bandits at radio and tv stations. It was of the beginning of 2 Blond Bandits in the year 2000/2001 and we love it. So you will still find it on our website.

What is the most difficult part of creating?

You mean for the video or for the songs? It's identical for what the most difficult is, that our producer permanently is of the opinion, this isn't well so. Let's try once again... ;-)

Do you have a favorite social cause you devote time to?

We are very concerned about one thing. We support the promotion and help the child cancer community here in Hamburg. It means when we are live on stage we promote and also at special events. This year we wrote a special song only for the community. A ballad, the sales goes 100% to the community. We hope this is a small help for the community because the main priority of the community is to collect money and to support special projects in children hospitals.

Are you preparing a tour in the near future?

Not a real tour, but we will be doing live show for different radio stations here in germany. They do a lot of summer events.

Do you have a special place you go to recharge your energy?

Yeah, of course. It's in Spain. Our mother live there. If we have enough time, we like to go there twice a year.

How did you pick the name "2 Blond Bandits"?

We are two, we are blond and we are bandits (sometimes) ;-)
