Four Foot 0

Please introduce yourself to our readers:

hey hey, we are a 3 piece punk/80's metal band with a crazy live show, check us out!

What message if any are trying to convey?

Basically, in a nut-shell, we attempt to transfer the message of hope, peace, and security offered to all humans from God from the christian world to the secular market. We try to do this in a way that non-christians have not heard before.

Do you bill yourself has a Christian band?

I would definetly say so based on the fact that the boys and i are devout christians. However, I view us as a ministy band. We minister, while other bands stay within the "Christian scene" and lift other christians up, which is great, but we feel a calling to reach the unsaved, the ones who really need it.

How are you received by regular media?

The secular media has responded very well, local newspapers have done an unbiased article that clearly states our beliefs, and internet media such as mp3.com, music pages, and personal pages, to name a few, have been very responsive and open to us.

Do you feel regular media restrictive as to your music?

Not at all. a lot of our more popular songs are love songs so go figure.

Do any of you have formal training?

All of us have taken lessons to some extent and have rich musical backgrounds.

What are your long term goal artistically?

We want to take our music to the mainstream. i really could care less if we get dubbed "sellouts" We want to take our music and message to as many people as possible. If it means goin on TRL with Carson Daly, so be it. if it means opening up for KISS on their next final fair well tour then so be it.

How many CD's have you released?

One, an e.p. entitled "demo-lition derby"

Where can they be obtained?

Our website www.geocities.com/fourfoot0 or through "the cool kids in school" street team members.

Tell us about your CD'?

The e.p. was our first experience with recording. We went in having no idea and came out veterins. The mixing job goes from awesome on some tracks to luke warm on 1 or 2. its still full of energy and everything else in our musical package.

What is your most challenging part of creating?

The most challenging part isn't creating, but getting our stuff down pat. it takes a lot of work and dedication to get our stuff down good for our live show.

Which is your most popular CD?

obviously "demo-lition derby" our only release
