What can be said about Nic Meredith's CD? First and foremost "It's masterful!" It's straight forward pure performance! Nic does each song with confidence and brio... From the first song entitled "Lost in the rythm" You can sense his mastery as the melody line developes. The lyrics woven in perfectly creating a magic from which the emotions burst forth. No fancy shmanzy studio created effects, His talent does not need it! As a matter of fact, in my opinion, the whole CD gives you a feeling that you are at a live concert. As if he was playing right there in front of you. A very private performance just for you. It is a nice feeling:-) Speaking of performance don't forget to check out the video. That's all I'm going to say about it. Gotta leave some mystery! In a world of glitter and false images, Nic Meredith is a refreshing blast of musical sincerity. Music in it's purest sense, the way it is meant to be performed. The format of the CD itself is great, each song building on the previous one. And climaxing with a humourous song called "Chook" If you don't know what a chook is that's one more reason to get the cd. And let's not forget the presentation it is slick and rich in short B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. A full 5 microphones out of 5 to this CD!
